Melissa, Mark and their children Flynn, Danica and Coco the Labrador are now living in their forever home in Paeroa.

The couple wanted a family home which they could enjoy for years to come. Melissa and Mark worked with Signature Homes Papakura & Franklin to create their forever home, which stylishly combines elements of rural warmth with today's modern must-haves, offering a contemporary take on country-style living.

Melissa and Mark had been planning and designing their own home for quite some time and wanted to incorporate all the features that were important to them.  Their list of must-haves included; a kids wing at the end of the house, separate study, large garage for extra storage space and a spacious open plan living area. 

The couple worked with Signature Homes to discuss their options and finetune their floorplan.

The family-friendly layout cleverly groups the kids' bedrooms in a dedicated wing at one end, together with a bathroom, TV room and laundry. While the master bedroom with an indulgent walk-in wardrobe and lavish ensuite is at the opposite end of the home along with a separate study for extra privacy.

The home stunning exterior façade was achieved through the use of statement brick laid in a cobble pattern, adding a dramatic effect to the exterior. Vertical Truwood weatherboard was also used on the entrance and outdoor living porticos to create contrast while complementing the home’s natural surroundings.

Inside, the neutral colour palette channels a sense of serenity and calm, while warm shades of timber are welcomed through the integrated outdoor living area creating a peaceful, inviting space to relax. Raked ceilings create a light, bright and airy feel, completing this beautiful abode.
