Josh and Daisy were tired of renting, and ready to build their own home. The couple knew they could build a house in Taranaki and have it exactly how they wanted it – with all their requirements and must-haves. So they approached Signature Homes Taranaki, to help them turn their dreams into reality.

Josh and Daisy had a list of must-haves which included an ensuite and walk-in wardrobe for their master bedroom.

The couple wanted large expansive doors that connected the main living area to the outdoors, so the family could enjoy the beautiful bush views and lush morning sun that Taranaki has to offer. As well as a large driveway for their son to ride his bike. 

Josh and Daisy worked with the Signature Homes Taranaki team to determine the overall layout of their home.

We had help from Geoff and the New Home Consultant from Signature Homes Taranaki - we would have been lost without their help.

Josh and Daisy chose large Nero Grande brick for the exterior of their home, combined with dark Linea cladding. The couple added a grey roof, doors and garage door to break up the darkness of the brick, resulting in a striking exterior façade.

Inside, the couple opted for a neutral colour pallette, inspired by the beautiful natural earthy tones and greenery of the Taranaki area.
