The Brief
When Cris, Geoff & their son Luca started planning a move from their terraced home in busy Mount Maunganui, they knew they wanted to Design & Build their dream home in a semi-rural setting. A search for a section with a view landed them in Te Puna, west of Tauranga.

The Plan
Taking inspiration from Signature Homes’ Seaview plan, the Seavills made small tweaks to the floorplan to suit their needs, and added a large pool overlooking the water and stunning rural outlook.

The Materials
Deep stained cedar mixed with Celcrete on the home’s exterior helped the Seavills keep costs down while still maintaining a sense of luxury. Inside, the home oozes warmth through hardwood flooring and beautiful high ceilings.

Real wood flooring in an antique oak finish is the star of this home, seamlessly connecting the entertaining areas, dining, kitchen and entryway. A level entry to the outdoor area through large sliding doors provides unbeatable indoor-outdoor flow.
