Inspired by the New Zealand Coast
As an island nation, the coast provides some of our most loved experiences. From work to play, and from east to west, the coast offers a fresh palette inspired by sea, sky, and sand.
A coastal-inspired home evokes a sense of tranquillity, relaxation, and connection to the sea. It's a popular choice due to its calming atmosphere, natural elements, timeless appeal, versatility, and positive energy.

How to Achieve a Coastal-Inspired Home
Colour Palette: Opt for soft, muted tones like white, beige, or grey for a serene atmosphere. Introduce pops of light blue or sage green for a coastal touch.
Materials: Incorporate natural materials such as wood, stone, and brick to create a rustic, earthy feel.
Lighting: An open-plan layout with large windows and soft, warm lighting creates a welcoming atmosphere.
Interior Furnishings: Use natural textures like linen, cotton, jute, and wood. For a coastal touch, consider adding modern nautical-inspired elements, such as artwork or vases.
Layout: Consider an open-floor plan and indoor-outdoor flow to create a sense of connection to the outdoors.
